¡Vivan los Empresarios!: Mentoring Entrepreneurs in Central America

Be a Mentor

You can be the link to business success for entrepreneurs in Nicaragua and beyond by sharing your skills and expertise as a volunteer business mentor.

Program Expectations & Requirements

Requirements: We are looking for volunteer business professionals who speak Spanish and who have 3 years of business ownership experience or 5 years of experience in business management or in a specialized skill (such as accounting or web marketing). We will offer you training and support throughout the mentoring process.

Location: We are recruiting mentors both locally in Nicaragua and abroad. In most cases, we expect much of the mentoring to happen over email, Skype, and/or the telephone. Travel or face-to-face meetings are not required, but are possible depending on what works best for both parties.

Time Commitment: The time commitment is minimal (3 to 6 hours per month for 3 to 6 months) and you always have a choice of who to connect with and when you are available to mentor.
