What Affiliates can Expect from MicroMentor
- Development and maintainence of the underlying technology and MicroMentor platform, management of the MicroMentor online community
- National marketing of the program and responsibility for building the national network of entrepreneurs and business volunteers
- An account lead who will promptly answer affiliate questions and provide ongoing support
- Reports detailing the activity of affiliate clients upon request
- Marketing assistance for affiliates to market the program locally and encourage local press coverage
What MicroMentor Expects from Affiliates
- Assign a program champion to oversee the adoption of the program (~4 hours per month for 3 months)
- Ensure staff complete our Affiliate orientation and review program support materials (~1 hour)
- Integrate MicroMentor into your service mix and actively promote the program to clients
- Encourage clients to succeed by:
- Replying to mentoring offers in a timely fashion
- Putting forth a good faith effort to each mentoring relationship
- Responding to MicroMentor match feedback and program evaluation requests
- Actively recruit local volunteer business mentors
- Provide program feedback to MicroMentor staff by responding to surveys and occasional interview requests
