Q. New Entrepreneur would like topics for Newsletters
In an effort to add additional value to my accounting services, I am contemplating writing newsletters. In order to truly understand the goals and daily struggles of small business owners, I would like to know your specific problems when it comes to managing your business financially. Are there are any related skills/knowledge which you may want to develop or obtain? How do you rate your current financial advisor and what new services would you like accountants to provide?

Here are a few things I'd like to know:
*Changes to the tax laws for 2010 and how those affect small businesses. I'd like to understand enough information to know how those changes affect me and where to go for more details.
*Upcoming new programs initiatied by the Obama administration to help small businesses. I'd like to understand the details behind them to determine if I'm eligible and how to apply.
*New tools available to help manage business finances - iPhone apps, websites, etc. I'd like to understand how other businesses have leveraged those tools to help manage their books. I'd also like to get their ratings/feedback. Some tools sound great but, in practice, don't work well.

Many business owners get in trouble with commingling, so maybe you can explain the dangers of this. Also, what deductions and expenses are we not taking. Setting up your bookkeeping or accounting. How to hire the right accountant? Also, I would encourage you to creat FAQ's (frequently asked questions).

On the basics it will be helpful if you post let say a programme point by point how to commence business like siting a product,doing costing,preparing projected profit and loss,income expenditure,capital recovery, MIS,registration procedure,locating a business place,opening bank account,loan processing,sales data collection and finally launching procedure. Secondly another listing for registering an NGO what one should do. Third changes in laws as and and when it happens. Fourth Tax return (both fedaral and sales tax) procedures and charts on monthly,quarterly and annual basis to enable a tax planning
