You might want to check around you area to see if there is a SBA (Small Business Association) for your state or a World Trade Center that you can contact for resources. Some universities will also have information on who the best contacts might be in their business department.

Your question is not specific, therefore you will get very poor answers. Is it an import only business you are trying to start? You mentioned export, what are you going to export? Have you done your market study as yet? Is there a demand for your imported product? First study the market (who is buying, is there a need, am I allowed to import these products), then consider profits after expenses such as freight, import duty, storage, marketing and selling expenses. How much profit is left? Is it worth the your time and effort?
