Q. Moving to Tajikistan in a few weeks. Haven't been able to research much on importing clothing goods (sheepskin) to USA. Need some import expertise. Anything I need to do before I leave US?
TJ Export/US Import - need an expert for this part. Floundered around Commerce website, drowned a bit in HarmonizedTariffSchedule. :( There is an American Chamber of Commerce in Tajikistan (not contacted yet) and I have been trying to email a contact I was given at USAID Tajikistan but no response. Is there anyone here I can/should be speaking with before I leave about details of importing goods for sale? Also just getting started trying to interest boutiques (recommended target) for outlet here in the DC area. Advice on approaching buyers?
