Q. I am looking for new ideas for marketing.
I am opening an Education Center to teach Nursing Assistants and need new, fresh ideas for marketing. I know there are a great deal of people looking to change careers in this challenging time, and know there are people looking to improve themselves. I just don't know where to find them. Any ideas?

One good place to start marketing for your services would be your area high schools. Most have a career development center and always welcome the opportunity for guest speakers to encourage seniors to advance their education. Also, contact foster agencies. One of the biggest dilemmas facing fosters that age out of the system is no plan of action or career path. This option will not only enhance your business but create a rewarding experience for you personally!

try putting up flyers or ads in the local unemployment offices, lots of folks there are looking for new opportunities. Also try facebook, it's fairly cheap. You might also want to reach out to your local military base or bases, lots of enlisted men and women getting out of the military with honorable discharges are both 1) looking for new opportunities in life and 2) reliable and interested in self-development
