Q. Start up question regarding licensing

What else does someone need besides a business license and the business name registered with the city and state to be legal to open for business in Oregon? I am an unliscensed holistic practitioner, even though I have certification, I am still wondering if there is something else I need to do to operate a consulting business. I will be also get insurance. Thanks!

There are a few people to ask.  I would suggest an attorney but if you were going to do that you would not be asking the question.  At minimum the City you are doing business in is the key, many cities have people who can answer those questions for you.  There are also many P&C commerical insurance agents who can add to this (note commercial as a specialty).
