What I need help with

My background as an entrepreneur

My current challenges

My current challenge would have to be deciding on which direction to take my business. After launching the app in October 2019, I quickly realized that there were a lot of things I hadn't prepared for, such as how to effectively market my app, target users, as well as potential vulnerabilities to hackers... I'm having trouble reevaluating my app as a whole, and would like to create an improved version of the app, so that users would actually benefit more from the use of it.

Actions I’ve taken so far

So far, I'm currently in the brainstorming phase. Also, I have been participating in some app/tech webinars with fellow tech developers.

My future goals

I'd really love to ultimately use the Afromote platform to create a "remote" working community in Kenya/and or other countries in Africa where Afro business owners, entrepreneurs, and professionals from across the diaspora can come together to share ideas.

My motivations to work with a mentor

I've had a few mentors growing up, and they have really helped me in my development as an individual, and I feel that I'd benefit from the support of having someone to bounce ideas off of.
