My background as an entrepreneur

My current challenges

The Challenges: 1. Despite of being positive and hardworking person who always strive to achieve the highest standard possible at any given time and as a start up entrepreneur, sometimes I cannot demonstrate the ability to work under intensive pressure, market or sell products and services to customers of all background. 2. I make revenue but no profit. 3. Lack of some basic skills in Marketing, sales, advertising, Accounting and finance are the major problems. 4. Lack of Resources required to expand my business. 5. I am poor in making follow-up and refarrals. In line with this saying " You don't know what you don't know". I am eager to learn, I enjoy overcoming challenges and I have a genuine interest in Marketing, sales, advertising, Accounting and Finance. Although I don't need to be an expert in Accounting but if I can get information on how to read a financial statement, knowing fixed and variable cost I will be happy.

Actions I’ve taken so far

The desire and dream of owning big profit and non-profit organizations drive me to enter into entrepreneurship. However the only thing I could do towards this road, I opened a tailoring shop together selling some clothing materials. looking forward after this Corona pendemic I am prepared to start saving a small amount of money and buy some sewing machines may be before September I can employ one or two more person when I reach December I might increase revenue. In short I want to expand my business.

My future goals

  1. To offer a satisfactory product and service.
  2. Maintaining relationship with the customers.
  3. Increase the income ( revenue)
  4. Registration of the business name.
  5. Marketing my services.
  6. Hiring other tailors.
  7. To make it a cooperate (company)
  8. Expansion and Diversification of the Venture.

My motivations to work with a mentor

I will be so excited to work hand in hand with a mentor. I have never had one therefore having a mentor I expect many outcome. I am so motivated and just waiting for the mentor. if I get a mentor whom together we build a strong relationship and step by step I am willing to follow all instructions given and implement them. So help me. I need assistance. Am ready.
