As of the moment, my business idea is in the idea phase. I hope to get into the prototyping phase. I realized that I am taking too much time on the research side and face the barrier to breakthrough into creating the prototype and prioritizing what is most impactful for my business idea. I wish and would appreciate expert ideas.
I face barriers currently on the market research side, developing the market/sales strategy. In addition, I am a sole founder, so I also face challenges in setting up a team (recruiting) as well as having to lead the team if I were to have one.
Actions I’ve taken so far
I have sketched out some potential marketing strategies and created a startup canvas. On the side, I've been looking into youtube videos to enhance my business understanding, as well as drafting a pitch deck (however, I am still looking into the components that makes a pitch great).
My future goals
To improve the quality of education in rural areas. I believe that education should be accessible to all students. My goal is to have leading universities and schools partner with us.
My motivations to work with a mentor
Breaking through the idea phase of my business into prototyping and ready pitching phase. Ready to commit through.
About my venture
I am planning to run an ed-tech company (learning-management software). However, it might change depending on how I research my user's problem and the capability to grow.
As of the moment, it is still at the idea phase, I hope to get it into the prototyping stage. I face barriers (thinking thoughts) in terms of market research, developing product, management (creating business flow and operation), as well as recruiting.
