What I need help with

My background as an entrepreneur

My current challenges

Increasing our sales both on Amazon and on our Website Branding in the online space and platforms Creating the best/quality products even though we are working in a community where people haven't really developed the craft or skill to produce products that meet international standards.

Actions I’ve taken so far

Hired a social media intern to build our social presence

My future goals

Grow Ecodunia to $1 million in revenue by 2023 Educate 100 Kenyan teenage girls through high school and eventually college. Achieve financial freedom for myself by the age of 40. Grow my team in Kenya to match my revenue and production goals

My motivations to work with a mentor

Access social capital from savvy people that I otherwise don't have in my network.

About my venture

Ecodunia Started 2019

At Ecodunia, we make leather wallets lined with African fabrics and reusable grocery bags with colorful African prints. We sell to the socially conscious consumer who is looking for products that are ethically made, sustainably sourced, and that empower Black communities. As a Black immigrant, and now American citizen, I want Ecodunia to be a bridge between my two communities - my Kenyan roots and my newer, American community.

Countries of operation: United States of America
