What I need help with

My background as an entrepreneur

My current challenges

We face the most common situation any business faces in it's embryonic phase. Capital. However, I am certain there is money through grants from the Federal or State or perhaps a loan could be acquired. Which we would need a real business plan

About my venture

The Catalpa Group

The idea of the Catalpa Group is not new. Writing this leads me to realize I need a mission statement. It is to have properties to provide affordable housing to people whom are in recovery from the disease of addiction. In the substance abuse field the properties we intend to obtain and operate are referred to as 3/4 houses. Where there is no staff on site. The residents will run the house. While the Catalpa group will oversee, manage the property, and advise residents on decisions to be made about the physical property. While offering individual mentorship developing individual life and recovery plans. Career development etc. Helping residents seek out necessary rescoures such as resume' building, acquiring health insurance, medical and dental. We believe not enough of these types of homes exsists, especially for women. While statics show a high percent of the people that leave these houses go on to live happy productive lives. While becoming members of the community in good standing
