How I can help
My professional background
Previously worked as a consultant at PwC in London, where I worked with international clients spanning Asia, North America and Europe. Since 2019 I work in a Private Equity firm where I evaluate investment opportunities in small cap firms across all sectors. Have developed a good sense of what makes companies attractive and what improvements levers can be used.
How to work with me
What I can offer
With my experience of being an investor I am able to provide insights as to how investors evaluate a company, what is important for a company to attract investors and what levers can be used in order to improve attractiveness of a company. I have worked primarily with small and medium sized enterprises and have helped companies grow from small local companies to become large successful regional companies. Beyond my skills in evaluating investment opportunities I have previously worked with my own startups and have experienced the common pitfalls in early stage startups.
My expectations for a successful mentoring relationship
I hope to develop a good relationship, where both parties listens and try to understand the other party. I am keen to learn what challenges the mentee are facing and I am motivated to help my mentors achieve the next level. I don't expect a certain time commitment from my mentees, I would rather my mentees use me as a sounding board for any ideas or struggles that they may face. Furthermore I am keen to use my skills and network to the extent possible to help my mentees achieve their goals and objectives. Critical for me is that I have honest, deep and truthful conversations with my mentees.
How entrepreneurs can prepare before we start
Nothing in particular, I believe that my mentees can turn to me for any open issues they have or just use me as a sounding board for their issues. So nothing in particular needs to be prepared.
