My expectations for a successful mentoring relationship
My intention is to be a visionary and thought-partner to mentees, and that entrepreneurs feel heard and be supported in relevant, resourceful and empowering ways. My expectation for a successful mentoring relationship is for the interaction to be open, dynamic, resourceful, supportive, innovative, and applicable. My goal is to leverage entrepreneurs for growth and continued success.
How entrepreneurs can prepare before we start
It is always helpful to have a clear set of questions relating to the present or impending challenge or opportunity. Being able to reference data (quantitative and qualitative) as well as key performance indicators helps frame the current state of the business, its challenges, strengths or opportunities. However, I'm also comfortable with situational analysis and strategic masterminding sessions.
