My focus of work has revolved around visible direct or indirect positive changes in the lives of people with adequate measures to ensure the quality and quantity of work. In my previous organization, I have extensively worked around Entrepreneurship at various levels – taught Entrepreneurship to MBA students of Aurora Business School for three consecutive years; Trained Government Officials in Tanzania and Mozambique on Entrepreneurial Business Planning; 6-month mentoring of Entrepreneurs of Hyderabad with their business enterprises; five years of supporting Meghalaya Basin Development Authority to train, mentor, expose and support in establishing small Agri-based enterprises for smallholders.

With my three decades of experience in various sectors that include livelihood promotion, entrepreneurship, small-scale aquaculture, MicroFinance and several other areas, I see a strong fit for the role of a mentor. I have also been responsible for Communications and Publications at the International Institute of Rural Development, Philippines.

Having worked in the academia, an International NGO, an Inter-governmental Organization, the Government of Timor Leste, Micro Finance Sector, an International Consulting firm and a Livelihood Promotion organization, I find myself fit for the role and excites me enough to explore this possibility.

I would be very happy to help out in strategic terms but let me see if you are keen as well.

I have taught Entrepreneurship for MBA courses for 3 years; In addition to this I have trained government officials on Entrepreneurial Business Planning in Tanzania; conducted series of training and offered hand-holding support to grassroots entrepreneurs and government officials for 5 years for Government of Meghalaya, India. In addition to this I have mentored entrepreneurs in India to improve their enterprises.

1) I am quite flexible with my work hours but would prefer 11 am to 1 pm and 3 pm to 6 pm Indian Standard Time 5 days a week. 2) I would expect the mentees to be open in discussions so I can find ways to help out. 3) If the mentee is sure s/he can devote time not just for discussions but engage to take it further, please feel free to contact. Please remember, 'mentors' are not a one-shot magician and will need a regular interaction. Be prepared for it in all sincerity.

Please have a rough, realistic and flexible plan both in mind and on paper so you can build around it. Do have strong and solid reasoning of why you want to follow a particular line of enterprise and how you think it will succeed. Be very clear about your (a) USP; and (b) your constraints/bottlenecks.
