How I can help

My professional background

I have had a variety of experiences with different businesses from working with my family and construction to running a side business in college working on cars as well as computers. I've also had experience in agriculture from working at a tractor dealership to working with GPS auto-guidance. I've been working with computers since I was young and have now made it the focus of my career where I'm currently doing Site Reliability Engineering and part of the hiring process for members of my team. I've managed a number of major projects.

How to work with me

What I can offer

I can offer my skill in the following: 1. Organization of just about anything you can think of. 2. Seeing the big picture and understanding how to turn it into reality as it relates to the details. 3. Communication skills and in particular skills that are very effective when dealing with conflict. 4. Financial in seeing how to effectively turn your business into one that is efficient and growing. 5. Risk management and seeing the larger picture to help ensure you aren't blind sighted by something you were taking for granted. 6. Teach how to ask the right questions when entering a new situation that's unfamiliar and how to look at current ones from a new perspective.

My expectations for a successful mentoring relationship

I expect to be able to see my mentees grow and learn in a way to be successful, self sufficient, and pass along what they've learned to others.

How entrepreneurs can prepare before we start

They should be prepared for the following: 1. Have an open mind 2. Be open to being introspective. 3. Take a Myers Briggs personality test and come prepared to share your personality type.
