I would suggest the following steps:

  1. Firstly, understand the type of business you are in and your target audience.

  2. Then create a compelling sales message that is tailored to your market and contains all the relevant information needed by your potential customers to make a buying decision.

  3. Finally, use marketing techniques such as email marketing, social media advertising and search engine marketing to drive leads and conversions to your sales page.

Good question. You have an advantage over many of your competitors because not many people in your industry are using the internet to market their business.

Here are the things you can do right now:

  1. Set up professional, well-optimized social media pages - Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and Twitter.

  2. Do local directory: Try as much as possible to list your business in at least 5 of your local directory websites. What this means is that you are leveraging those powerful platforms to be visible.

  3. Google My Business: If you haven't yet, list your business in Google's GoogleMyBusiness. If you have a physical location, wonderful.

  4. Get A Website: At this point, you will have to spend money. Get your business a professional website and optimize it with high-converting web content.

  5. Nurture Your Audiences: Let people know that you know what you're doing by creating content that helps them solve a problem or two. A good example is what I am doing right now.

  6. Be Seen With Target Ads: If you have the means, run paid advertising. If you have more money, reach out to influencers.

CAVEAT: This is a process. Don't expect instant magic!

Great question! its nice to see that you are looking to build a process for collecting leads for your business.

There are a few things that we have to have in place before we can talk about getting leads for your business.

  1. you need to get really deep on who your customer is. you can do this by doing a DDS(deep dive survey) on your current customer base. if you do not have a current customer base than i would do the survey on people that you know that have had the service you are looking to market done recently.
  2. Take the information you gain to build the messaging and core offer for your clients.
  3. You have to think about marketing as a tool for relationship progression. asking a random stranger to buy your stuff is like asking someone you just met to get married...its creepy lol.
  4. you want to build up to the core offer using the follow process Lead > Front end offer > Core offer. the process may change depending on the total cost of the offer but the basics still work.

if you need a good example of this process look at a company like bath fitters.

once you have a good layout of your process you can then start sending traffic to your lead generation page that will then send your new lead to your font end offer.

this will not happen on one go so having a email nature series at each step will be essential.
