Hello community: I am wondering what is the BEST thing to do next after your LLC

After forming my LLC I don't know what to do next that would ultimately make things smooth for me.

I'm thinking insurance Customers And then investments?

Is that a decent move?

I would make sure you have your LLC really nailed down in a meaningful way. For example, did you prepare an Operating Agreement for the LLC? Did you obtain an Employer ID from the IRS for your LLC? Did you setup a business checking account for the LLC? Did you obtain a business credit card to establish a credit history for the LLC separate from your personal credit history? Did you setup bookkeeping so that it aligns to IRS Schedule C so that preparing your tax return will be easy every March 15th? Make sure you have fully completed everything associated with creating the LLC and then start spending some real time trying to acquire customers.

I agree with Matt Evans in the specifics of continuing to set up the business. However, I'll take a different approach since he covered those well.

Having officially started your business, the next steps depend on your industry and model. If you are in the hospitality/tourism industry insurance is, as you mentioned, is a great next step. After that, make actual cash from it. Your motivation will skyrocket when you're able to get an income and, technically speaking, you don't have a "business" until you're getting money. Attempt making sales or landing clients and experiment with the value offering.

The next best thing to do after forming your LLC, is you get some confidential business advice. Then..... Depending on your LLC's budget, your best bet might be to work on your LLC's line of credit, that is different then a credit rating. This can be done by opening a few credit accounts from vendors that you might use. Contact me to get more information and a list of vendors who do lines of credit with only address verification.
