Hi everyone! I am having trouble to divide my product into potential market segmentations.

This is my prodcut. Description: I call my software "PIC DESGIN". It is basically an application on you phone/laptop where you can create a picture out of a blank canvas. On the software itself you will be able to choose different types of backgrounds that fit you images. There will be a collection of pictures stored in the cloud database and user can choose pictures from there or they ca get their own pictures and crop it themselves. This application was created to inspire young designers to explore different types of designs and patterns. My end user is probably are probably young children who have the passion of creating pictures. Lastly they will be able to print their photos, that is where they will incure cost. To print a picture they will have to pay an average of $2.50 depending on the quality of the image that they choose.

Joshua, do develop an in-house analytics application that can track the number of visitors to your app and on which features and sections of the app do you find more clicks. A section that gives you more click is the one where the user would have more interest. I do understand that you want to get more users to pay for taking a print-out of the pic, but don't forget your users' interest.

Hi Joshua

The answer is within your question, which is to identify  "Potential Market Segment", I understand young children is your niche, however 'young children' is  a wide range. Use an analytics app to find the pages clicked by children and their age.Find out  is there season of the year when more children are using your app, which age band is using on which season? This will provide which age band is interested in what type of pages and what time of the year.  Once you found these info, you can segregate your products according to age, interest and eventaully you can even price it according to the age or canvas concept or seasonality.
