Ana,
Threre are two ideas that come to mind when I'm confronted with asking my self, "what's next". I look to seek the advice of someone who can point me in the right direction and also look to find someone already doing the very thing I want to pursue, visit there office or invite them to lunch, with the purpose of picking their brain.
Try visiting the Utah SBDC in Salt Lake City for starters. (http://www.mbrcslcc.com/slsbdc)
Do a google search of a small company in your area that you would consider a competitor and either contact them to schedule a sit down to see if they would be willing to help you answer some questions about their services or "coincidentally " run into one of the company representatives at a networking event you know they will be attending and take a minute of their time.

The banker will ask about your ability to obtain clients and ability to pay back loan, both of which will be answered with more confidence if you hold a credential issued by a particular state or national organization recognizing your skill and technological standing. There is no way to avoid being evaluated on those terms. Thus you might want to consider becoming certified by my nonprofit corporation (BETP Inc). More information as as belowMy work has been self employed : 1967-2000 Importing, 1989-2009 Mainly in the specialized area of litigation support in the capacity of being an American Bar Association certified paralegal (California), 2009-present and continuing: volunteerism in the capacity as CEO of Business Executive Training Program Inc (BETP Inc). The website for BETP is http://www.workforceretraininginIT, in which the orientation and outline of a credentialed job training program as a Certified CID Manager are in Articles 30, 31 and 51. That is the core training program that I have to offer. In that program I will transfer my working experience that I accumulated in the period of 1989-2009. That program lets experience-based mixed disciplines of law, management and accounting determine proportion and intensity of the mixture to meet the nowadays' digital age challenge of a manager who also performs as an internal auditor, controller and counselor, without the three credentials of MBA, CPA and JD.
