With no web design experience, what website will have the best set up ?

I second Sharron's answer, both of those options are easy to get a design up and going, plus have secure plug-ins if you need to take payment over the internet.

Word Press is another option that many small businesses use, but does require more of a time investment and learning curve..

You would also like to go ahead and do some research on what exactly you would like to get out of your website. Will it be an e-commerce portal or a portfolio or even a simple blog. Even though the providers make it very easy for you to get started, it would serve you in the long run if you can identify what would be your key differentiator.

While both wix and square space are great options they can get expensive quickly. A lower cost alternative is to use Wordpress with Elementor (which is similar to wix and square space)

So if costs is a factor you can use this option and still have Elementor to help with the design of your website.

That is an excellent question, Ken.

When members are discussing their experience with specific paid services -- like web hosting and website creation -- it is acceptable to name those businesses and include their website addresses.

Where it becomes problematic is if a user is entering into a discussion in our Q&A (or on their own profile or messages) with the specific and sole intent of promoting a business. That is definitely spam, which we do not tolerate.

While there is admittedly some "gray area" in this definition, we try to apply our sense intent behind sharing of a business's URL. None of the participants in this discussion appear to be consciously manipulating the discussion to drive traffic to a business they will profit from. We want discussions between members to be open and helpful, and allowing users to say the names and urls of for-profit businesses is allowed in those situations. Though this definition may not be as clear cut as "no links to any businesses" -- to disallow it would have an unnecessarily chilling effect on discussion.

Weebly.com is also very easy to use and worth considering.

Web.com Is a very good website to have.. You have the choice to let them create your website or you can create your own website. Their support team is amazing....

Web.com will give you the option on what demographic you would like to reach and create within your website to have people fill out their contact information and it will page you via text and through your email. They will also leave a message to your perspective client to let them know you wl be contacting them.

I always recommend NoHassleWebsite.com to my clients. It's an all in one solution and comes built on Wordpress. Instructions are included step by step with video walk throughs. All you need to do is swap out their images and text for yours. They even tell you how to do that.

Sharron Dark you are so correct.. I also have Wix.com , in our industry we use our Wix.com as a splash page basically a tool to get persons to take a look at what we do request additional information and we reach back out to them and with web.com it offers is a full website that allows them to navigate different things that we have done as well as enable them to be contacted and give them in-depth information regarding our business. I do agree with you Wix is the way it's a splash page it gives highlights it allows persons to know who you are what you do and to ask for additional information. I would pair the two together the Wix in addition to the web.com.

Weebly and SquareSpace are easy to use. MailChimp has just started their own integrated platform too.
