Baseru hi. Lack of discipline is a serious handicap for an entrepreneur because affects commitments, trust, biz operations, team work, and so on. Evaluate yourself and find the cause of the problem: do you have issues with ... daily routine, business, life, compromises, hard work, respect, organization, accountability, etc? Try to fix your key findings with professional help. And maybe you should also consider a different type of business, or a regular job, with flexible features. It is not easy, it is not free, but you can make it.

Hello, dear Baseru, first before fixing the issue let's identify the reason: why are you late? Is that because it takes longer to get to the workplace or you are tired and you sleep longer or you don't want to go to work? Identifying the reason you may understand what can be the first step to fix it. You may want to use the technique of 5 Whys - https://www.mindtools.com/pages/article/newTMC_5W.htm

Hi Baseru. I agree with Svitlana on identifying the why in "why being late happens". Are you more of a night owl and need to stick with working night hours? Are you getting enough good quality sleep? Loving what you do will help motivate you in being on time when you know you serve a purpose. People need you in your work and rely on you to provide that service and it takes a village. Every role matters.

First of baseru you have to define your problem which makes you to be late for work, then to change that develop a plan that will make you stop being late at work, then have someone to hold you accountable, it's through having someone making us accountable that's when we became disciplined and responsible.

Trying to be on time isn't being on time. You have to plan ahead. The day before think ok what time do I need to arrive to work and what do I need to accomplish prior to being there? Add up the time it takes for your morning responsibilities and subtract what time you need to be at your place of business. I always give myself an additional 30-45 minutes on top of the required time I take to ensure I'm early. I understand everyone's circumstances are different but tardiness isn't an acceptable practice in any business.
