The real answer to your question is dependent upon who you are asking money from. You need to select a potential source of funding and go have a conversation with them directly. For example, if you are seeking a loan from a bank, they may want a financial projection of your estimated revenues and expenses broken out by month for the next two to three years. In many cases, you will need to provide a Business Plan. Therefore, I would suggest you start by writing out a business plan. Hi Live. Terms and conditions depend on each lender but, in any case, you need to fully demonstrate they can trust you. So, be sure to develop a good business plan, have a solid list of referrals/recommendations, prepare a detailed report of your financial situation, think on collaterals, etc. Then, try to contact organizations such as The Citizens Economic Empowerment Commission (CEEC), The Awesome Foundation Lusaka, Kukula Capital, VC4Africa, The Tony Elumelo Foundation For Entrepreneurship Program, Seedstars Africa, 88mph, PEP Zambia, ICA, AGS, Zenga Ventures, Amano Capital, and similars. Look for professional and legal advice if you have doubts before signing a contract. Enjoy the process.
