Say you're starting a Company that covers a wide range of products amd services; with a slightly unique operating model. How do you go about compartmentalizing the different moving parts so that employees and potential investors understand that we're dif?

My Company creates Motion Pictures; but aims to utilize original music, props and news agency. So that when screening and distributing our films; our audience can buy memorabilia and other products that were in the film. So I'm still trying to figure out a proper standard model to use to present this to potential employees, collaborators and imvestors. Thank you

I think you start small and add on. So when you launch the business, focus on one area at first (perhaps music) and then build onto it in stages (adding in props, etc.). When you are pitching to investors you can provide your goals based on a timeline and achieving particular metrics. Hope this helps- Good Luck!

Thank you for your response Allison, however i do feel like you aren't getting the idea. A film contains music that also tells a part of the story told by the film, in our case; elevates it. Props are uniquely created to propel the story (e.g. McGuffin). So our mandate is to craft these products to accompany a film, then make them available to be sold to audiences that relate to the film. Do i make sense? 🤔

My mistake, the way the question was phrased I was under the impression you were starting a business with the end goal of eventually doing it all. So is your question about sales? Business model? Distribution? I may not be the right mentor for you, but I am hoping my questions can focus the question for another mentor to assist.
