Hi, I feel that if you follow the problem solution you should be fine. So first tell them what the problem is. Next tell them your solution. Finally state why you are the only one who can do this.

Hi Jessica, one word - SIZZLE! If what you say in the first two sentences doesn't have people thinking 'Wow, that's cool! Tell me more', nothing else matters as they're no longer listening.

Same way you get to Carnegie Hall... practice, practice, practice. I would write out your plan, change the font and reread it (i can find the article if you want but it has been shown that a different font helps you read with more impartial frame of view). Then keep cutting until you have only the bare basics. Then find every unlucky person you know and trap them and practice in front of them, the more you say it the more confident you will be, you should know it like the back of your hand. Always happy to lend an ear, best of luck.

Hi Jessica, and welcome to the vast world of Entrepreneurship.

I think you must focus on defining your "Marketing Dominating Position". But what exactly is that? (You may ask). It is simply any value-added customer perceived benefit, or a combination of benefits, that differentiates you from your competitors; and does so in a strong enough manner that it makes your business the logical choice in the minds of your prospects and customers.

We offer a FREE 4 part video course that explains more about this and helps you with the first steps on how to define it.

Hello Jessica: The elevator pitch should be easy communication, in order to unserstand your bsuiness.

First, you should say the problem, then how can you solve this problem, and if you need money to increase potential or grow your business, or get some investors. Try to say everything as a Story Telling, this is the best way to engage people in your business.
